Bridging the Gap, created by National Sawdust Curator Robert Sirota, is a series of concerts of chamber, choral, and solo compositions that explore the student/teacher and mentor/mentee relationships between generations of composers. Pieces of Eight performs Sirota's set of miniatures as well as a work by Jonathan Bailey Holland, featuring percussionist Ian Rosenbaum.

I've bitten the proverbial bullet and will be recording my debut solo album, Love stories (Infrequent Seams), at Seizure's Palace (Brooklyn) with assistant engineer Drake Andersen this September, featuring new solos by Kevin Baldwin, Sean Harold, and Anne Goldberg plus pieces by Nick Nelson (This is the female form for speaking flutist) and Jonah Rosenberg (ARRAYS for alto flute and electronics).
